Short Bio

  • Zhen Xin was born in Shandong Province, China. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the College of Information and Control Engineering, China University of Petroleum, Qingdao, China, in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. His research interests include power quality, modeling and control of power converters for renewable energy systems, grid synchronization, and high-bandwidth and high-efficiency current sensors.

  • Influence of the harmonic controllers on the stability of the grid-connected LCL-filter voltage-source inverter control system – the research will focus on: 1. How to eliminate the harmonics in the injected current to the grid without adding any additional current sensors. 2. How does the harmonic elimination control loop influence the stability characteristic of the overall control system? 3. Simple and reliable control strategies to ensure the original stability characteristic of the control system.
