Research

His main reaserch interests are in the field of Power Electronics, in particular:

  • control and optimization of distributed power generation systems in Smart Grid;
  • control of distributed energy sources in islanded micro-grids (e.g. P-f Q-V droop control);
  • modeling, analysis and simulation of distribution electric grids with distributed generation (grid-connected and autonomous operation);
  • unintentional or uncontrolled islanding risk in distribution grids;
  • power electronic converters.
