Short Bio

  • Weijian Han (S’16) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with Northwestern Polytechnical University and with the University of Padova, Padova, IT (supported by the China Scholarship Council), where he is involved in the digital control of high-frequency switched-mode power converters for high-efficiency applications. His research interests include efficiency optimization of bidirectional converters and brushless DC motor drives.

  • The research focuses on the efficiency optimization of isolated high-power bi-directional DC-DC converter in the wide working range. The key points include: derivation of the optimal solution for the optimized goals, development of feasible control strategies and analysis of dynamic behaviors.
