Short Bio

  • Hildo Guillardi Júnior was born in Araraquara, state of São Paulo, Brazil, in 1989. He received the Bachelor's, cum laude, (2011) and the Master's (2013) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil. He is currently a Ph.D. student from State University of Campinas, Brazil, doing one year internship at University of Padova, Italy, with FAPESP scholarship. From 2012 to 2014 he was temporary professor at UNESP, campus of Sorocaba, and he interned at Power Electronics subject at both universities (2011 and 2015). His research interests include power electronics, control of power topologies and power quality.

  • Electric Power Quality in aeronautical environments - Following the concept of More Electric Aircraft is proposed a Multilevel Active Power Filter working with the Conservative Power Theory to mitigate the unwanted electric current effects. The great challenges of this application is work in a variable fundamental frequency of the grid (360 to 800 Hz), the reliability, comply standards limits and the processing time, what force the use of dedicated processor and acquisition systems.
